– What skill I’d like you to have – (You are of senior-level skill in understanding the pain points, desires, challenges, and opportunities in our market.)

What – Instruct ChatGPT on what you want it to do.

ChatGPT Prompt (only modify the content within the parentheses):

Here is what I want you to do:

– I want you to write audience persona profiles for our target market.

– I want you to identify and create two different audience personas who may be ideal for hiring our services. Our service offering will be detailed down below. 

– The audience personas you’ll create will be labeled and segmented into two persona types.

– The persona profiles do not have any letter or character limit, so you are free to make the persona profiles as detailed as possible.

– I want you to use bold text labeling each persona profile and headings throughout this document. These labels should be bolded so I may easily distinguish the titles from the detailed content.

– Avoid using repetitive phrases and unnatural sentence structures.

– I want you to cover these areas and any additional you see fit within these persona profiles; demographics, interests, emotions, needs, wants, pain points, goals, triggers, etc.

DIRECTION – Give ChatGPT advice on the persona types. (This field is also optional, I recommend removing this section if you aren’t definitive on your target audience or need new segments.)

– Persona type 1 is Christine. Christine is the VP of Digital Marketing for a small service-based business and manages several people under her; she is 38 years old. Christine oversees digital marketing and typically agrees to hire new agency partners. 

– Persona Type 2 is David. David is a marketing specialist who works at a medium to large-sized service-based organization. David is responsible for implementing the tactics used to reduce the cost per lead and increase lead volume for the organization. David feels a lot of pressure to reach target KPIs.

DATA – Give ChatGPT information about the brand.

This section should include any information we know about the brand and answers to in-depth questionnaires we’ve completed. This section may also include competitor examples and info relevant to the task.

– Our services include (your service offering)

– Our service offering solves; (pain point 1, 2, 3…)

– Some exciting things about us; (UVP 1, 2, 3…)
